Union Mac - Entrevista

1. Brief History:
Kristoffer and Mikael met in a mutual project called Mixtur wich was a production group designed to write and produce music to different events. In this project we were going to make a modern sound 80ies rock for a record company but instead of doing that “Union Mac” was created…

2. General Concept:
The idea of Union Mac was to have a red line of inspiration from everything through the 70, 80, 90ies rock era but with a more modern touch and some kind of unik sound to it.
We wanted to shake up the konventionell sound a little bit so to speak.

3. Bands / projects, previous / present:
Kristoffer have been working a lot with different bands and projects along the years souch as Prisoner, Rainmaker, Sayit, Radioactive, etc, while Mikael mostly have been working with his own ideas and participated on different local projects in Sweden.
For now we are headed towards our second album with Union Mac.

4. "Lost In Attraction" (comments):
The process has been quite long since we both work in different areas and have familys etc to take in to consideration but it also has been a creative journey to remember and to be inspired by for the next album.

5. Lyrics:
The lyrics are intended to effect people in a positive way by saying that life is hard but you are not alone in it. I have tried to reflect on feelings that we all struggles with in the ordinary life.
Why? Well my philosophy on this is that if you are going to take time out of your life to write something you should have something of importance to say and at least try to do it right (don’t know if i succeded).
Influences therefore are everything and everyone, we are all influenced by each other I think.

6. Live Shows:
None so far, but you never know.

7. Future Projects:
Union Mac 2 for now then we´ll see.

8. Final Message:
We only hope that we can spread some joy to the rock-audience out there and thank everyone that support us by buying the album.
